Performances :
Nani is at his Best with a good performance . He Is setting a Trend with his Dialogues and Unique Modulation but then he needs to be take care abot his facial Expressions and Body Language, otherwise he has a good poise. Aksha was Charming,Romantic and provides the glamourOus Skin Show .
Tanish looked the best for his role. He is Tender And will take time for him to get into Rough and tough guy roles since he still has those teen looks. His performance was good and his chemistry with Swetha also worked on the screen. Swetha was not only a Cute and good looks but she has also given a good performance with The Modulation Like’ E..k..K..a..d..a’, In the Same Way Here ’Ori Nayano’ But It Seems Super Fluous In Some Scenes on Silver Screen.Kasi Viswanath looks more fit and Slimmed Down Compared to Nacchavule...! while Ahuti Prasad did not give his full, He has a little Portray Comedy Worked on him and added value in this Movie.
Thulasi was alright, Brahmanandam- praveen Combination Made Laughs In The Comedy Tracks For The Audience. others Also did well as required. The director has come up with a regular formula but he is focussed on Bike Riding Concept, Targetted Youth Audience To Entertain that The Entire Youth has Desire and Passionate about Bikes,And the movie Has a Lengthy Climax of Dragging Tests The Patience of AudienceDirector Succeeded in catching the Youth Pulse.
The dialogues were entertaining, the script was written sensibly, screenplay was apt. Music Scored By Hema Chandra was good.Shyam’ photography captured the sequences neatly. Editing was required to cut short few things but overall it was apt. The costumes and art department also made a significant contribution and the production values were relatively high.

kick movie review

Vebtoday Points : 3 / 5

Story:
A well knit tale, the story begins with Kalyan (Ravi Teja) a guy who loves challenges and cannot live without getting a ’kick’ out of doing things. He falls in love with Naina (Ileana) but then she leaves him since Kalyan takes up jobs and keeps leaving them.
He also gets the support of his father (Sayaji) in this. Naina goes to Malaysia and there she gets the alliance of the tough cop Kalyan Krishna (shaam). However, Kalyan Krishna comes there on a mission. He is there to catch a notorious thief who has been stealing money from the rich people in India and has got away with it.
Meanwhile, Kalyan also comes to Malaysia and he stages a drama which confuses Halwaraj (Brahmi), Naina and others. Why does he do that? What is the motive of Kalyan and how does he get his ’kick’? All this forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
The director has come up with a thoughtful storyline and though the presentation was neat, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were good, the script was written neatly and the screenplay was effective.
Background score was good but all songs did not have energy, melody content was high on them. Cinematography was impressive, editing was crisp, costumes were perfect and the art department did their job to the standard. Ravi Teja was the energy for the film and his expressions and acting have brought him back to form.
Ileana was mind blowing and she looked really delicious after putting on weight. Shaam looked handsome but he could have worked more on his expressions, Ashika was alright, Brahmanandam was excellent, Sayaji was regular, Ali managed few laughs, the others like Banerjee, Chalapathi Rao, Kota came and went.
Performance
Ravi Teja was his energetic best and gave a good performance, Ileana was drop dead beautiful and she has really shown her oomph.
Brahmanandam was neat, Shaam looked competent and he has charming looks, Ashika can work on her figure a bit. The others like Chalapthi Rao, Banerjee, Prabha etc did their bit and contributed to the film.
The director has come up with a storyline that could have been stitched more tightly and though the presentation part was fine, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were written neatly and they were fair, script was written without any hitches and screenplay was executed.
The background score was neat and songs like ‘ I Don’t Want Love…’ ‘Manase Thadisela…’’ are something worth humming and can be taken home. Cinematography was neat and it captured the foreign locales in a good manner, stunts were good at few places. Costumes were trendy and art department was apt.
Plus Points: The cast does an impressive job of their roles. Ravi Teja, Ileana and Brahmanandam have done so many roles like these that they sail through their characters effortlessly. Rasool’s cinematography is a revelation as is his song picturization. As usual the comedy sequences between Halwa Raja and Kalyan are hilariously funny. Nothing thoughtful but you will laugh heartily. The first half of the movie especially the first 40 minutes raises expectations that this is going to be a mega hit. Minus Points : And then director Surender Reddy simply sinks the movie in the second half. He adds too many twists in the tale and introduces a lengthy flash back of Ravi Teja’s Robin Hood avatar of robbing rich and helping poor. This flash back lasting for about 20 minutes drags and almost kills the second half of the film. The climax too has been picturized trying to elevate the hero image and the audience will surely have their "god-when-will-this-movie-end" moments. The director tries to elevate Ravi Teja’s image without elevating Kalyan’s character. Ultimately this proved to be the movie’s undoing.
Conclusion:
The film has got all the ingredients for a masala movie and then there was tinge of thriller element in it. However, the makers should have worked on the tempo of the film to make it more gripping. The first half does not have any idle moment and passes off peacefully.
The second half gets very slow and it not until sometime that the story picks up again and culminates into a neat climax. Technically, the film has been made well but it could have worked more on the intense scenes and also on the pace.
Overall, this is a good one to run at box office since there are no other movies in sight now.
Final Touch : Surender Reddy focuses on comedy rather than his brand of action. Kick is presented in entertaining movie. Entertaining first half and Ravi Teja - Brahmanandam comedy episodes are main strength in this movie. Music is big letdown but the film is good time pass for this time...

The line ‘love at first sight’ is the most romantic line one can ever hear but then how true is it in real life is something as good as seeing god himself. However, here is the hero who falls in love with a girl at an airport and has got only two hours to win her heart. Is he successful or not, let us go and see.
Story
Dhruv (manoj) is a man who loves challenges and he is on his way to Singapore along with his friends Kailash (janardhan) and Raman. He is at the Kuala Lumpur airport waiting for the flight and here comes Harika (harika) along with her aggressive friend. She is on her way to India and is likely to meet her prospective husband so if all goes well, she would get engaged. An incident takes place and Dhruv bumps across Harika. It is love at first sight for him and he decides to win her heart. On the other hand, Harika is a girl who believes in planning and being systematic. Now, Dhruv has got just two hours to express his love and also get a positive answer from Harika. Is he successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Manoj looks handsome but for some reason he was unable to emote few innocent expressions naturally. He looked inconsistent in his performance. Harika has got really expressive eyes and though she is not beautiful, she has that cute look and her eyes do most of the talking. Janardhan provided a major relief with his dialogues and performance, the other friends also added humor to the otherwise dull session. Brahmanandam failed to fire this time and barring one or two moments, there was nothing much for him. There are no others in this movie to talk about.
Technical aspects
The dialogues are alright and some places were quite funny, script was written okay but then there is no content in this one. So it depended on screenplay which has not been stitched that entertainingly. Background score was good but was unnecessary at few scenes, one song is worth humming. Cinematography was neat, costumes were trendy but not much expenses on that as each character wore just one dress throughout the film. Editing was average. Graphics in songs was effective.
Director’s portrayal
The director has come up with a one line story and the rest depended on how he could pull this off to the entire two hour duration. While his presentation aspect was good, he could not muster enough excitement in his narration and it must be said that this was going to be a tough one for him though it is a different approach he took for a love story.
Critic’s view
The film is quite mild and though the message is about falling in love at first sight, the possibilities are such things are quite rare in real life so audience might find it hard to connect. While the first half goes about with the hero meeting the heroine and trying to meet her again and again, the second half goes about trying to impress her and win her heart. Except the last fifteen minutes or so, the film does not really take off with any hearty humor and even the scene of falling in love at first sight lacked the depth. The film might just be a mediocre treat for the teen audience but the fact is, it is not a memorable journey for the viewers in the theatres.
Verdict
Just okay!
